Inner Ocean Empowerment Project partnered with practitioners at Inner Ocean Center for Healing to provide affordable acupuncture and massage services to those in need of COVID-19 relief.
The Pay What You Can Program created a space for clients to write in what they are able to pay for their sessions, which can range between $15 and $65. Typical rates for acupuncture appointments range from $145 to $175 and rates for massage appointments range from $105 to $155. In addition to funds from the canceled international trips, the nonprofit paid for this initiative through donations from the community.
